The conference organised held on 29 May 2014 by Estonian Company Lawyers Association (EEJÜ) in co-operation with European Company Lawyers Association (ECLA) was a public debate on the obligations, status and future of the company lawyer.
EEJÜ unites lawyers working at companies, representing their interests in the society and helping to enhance professional qualifications. To add international weight to the discussions, ECLA, the non-profit association of the lawyers working at companies in Europe, was involved with the organizing of the conference. Lawyers of international companies such as Shell and ING were also sharing their experiences on how legal services of companies work.
